What is included in the wine tour price?
Answer
Transport to and from both wineries, Guided tour of both wineries which includes wine and oil tasting. A full lunch including mixed salad, main course, coffee, wine, water & desert.
How long of a drive is it to the first winery?
Answer
It takes roughly 25-30 minutes to the first winery in our air conditioned minivan.
Is a re confimation required for a pre booking?
Answer
We require a re confirmation at least one day prior to your tour date, we cannot hold your booking without doing so.
How can i reconfirm my wine tour?
Answer
Via email or by phone.
What if i need to cancel, is there a cancellation fee?
Answer
There is no cancellation fee, however we ask if one can call to inform us so we can accommodate other participants.
What form of payment is accepted?
Answer
We only accept cash.
How many wineries do we visit?
Answer
We visit two wineries, one of which is a family owned villa and the other a 12th century medieval castle.
What size of groups can i expect?
Answer
Group sizes vary from a minimum of 4 to a maximinum of 15 people.
How many wines and oils do we taste?
Answer
We taste a total of 4 to 5 wines and two olive oils.
Is there the option to buy wine and oil?
Answer
Yes however Chianti wine tours is not responsible for breakages, loss of items or shiiping.
If i purchase wine can i ship it back home?
Answer
We don't offer shipping of wine or oil.
Is it obligatory to buy wine and oil?
Answer
There is no obligation to make purchases on the wine tour.
